Seamus heaney - digging

1)At the start of the poem the writer is looking down from his window watching his father digging.

2)The sieght of his father digging in the lower bed remineds him of his for fathers digging for potatoes.

3)He ascoiciates his grandfather with digging.

4)The memory holds his him bringing his grandfather a bottle of milk whilst he was digging.

5)The skills the wrier uses are similies when he compares his pen to spades and to a gun. He speads up and slows down tempo. At the start he uses riming skiems such as thumb gun, sound ground.
A) This poem is about how his gradfathers used to dig for potatos before the poataoe famen.
B) The words that strike me most were digging pens and gun.
C) Heaney is different from his fathers becausehe writes instead of digging.
